What is the filter subscription?
Molekule features a dual-filtration system that uses two filters: A Pre-Filter and a PECO-Filter. Our annual filter subscription service is designed to make filter replacement easy, and keep your Molekule working efficiently all year round. Replacement filters are automatically sent to your door so you never have to worry about when to reorder them.
How often should filters be replaced?
We recommend that you replace your Pre-Filter every three months and your PECO-Filter every six months.
First-year filter subscription is free
Every Molekule ships with (1) PECO-Filter and (2) Pre-Filters, and includes a free one-year filter subscription when purchased directly from Molekule. That means you get a whole year’s worth of replacement filters automatically delivered to your door.
About 6 months after your initial purchase you will receive (1) PECO-Filter and (2) Pre-Filters to complete your first year filter subscription.
Note: If you bought prior to October 15, 2018 your Molekule shipped with (1) PECO-Filter and (1) Pre-Filter included in the device.
In the first year of your subscription, you will receive:
- (1) Pre-Filter about 10 weeks after your initial purchase
- (1) PECO-Filter and (2) Pre-Filters about 6 months after your initial purchase
Renewing your filter subscription after the first year
The annual filter subscription includes a total of (2) PECO-Filters and (4) Pre-Filters. Once you renew your annual subscription, we will ship (1) PECO-Filter and (2) Pre-Filters every 6 months.
If you bought your Molekule before March 2nd, 2018, you qualify to renew your annual subscription at a special introductory rate of $99 USD.
For devices purchased on or after March 2nd, 2018, the cost of renewing a filter subscription will be $129 USD. For Canadian customers, the cost of renewing a filter subscription will be $189 CAD.
