Extend Protection Plan Coverage
The Extend Protection Plan Includes:
- Defects in materials and workmanship quality
- Mechanical or electrical failures
- If the product stops working completely
The Extend Protection Plan does not cover:
- Accidental
- Damage from a drop
- Breaks or spills

How to Submit a Claim
File a claim through the Extend Customer Claims Portal: https://customers.extend.com/claims. You can also contact Extend’s Customer Care Team at 877-248-7707 (M-F 9am-5pm CT).
For those who purchased a protection plan contract through Clyde, you can file a claim by visiting the Clyde Claims Portal at https://www.hiclyde.com/login.
Simply provide a contract ID, email address, or another piece of identifying information to Extend.
Extend validates contract coverage by ensuring:
- The plan is active
- The date is between the effective & expiration dates
- You will then answer a few questions
- High-level troubleshooting steps are offered
- Once the claim is approved, a shipping label is generated to ship back the damaged product
- Extend will provide you with a unique code that can be used to order a replacement at molekule.com.
Additionally, Extend will be in constant communication with you to ensure satisfactory service has been provided.

When does my Extend Protection Plan begin?
Extended coverage takes effect 2 years after the manufacturer’s limited warranty period ends.
Can I purchase a Protection Plan if I already bought a Molekule air purifier?
If you are a Molekule product owner, you have the option to purchase an Extend Protection Ppan within 120 days of the purchase date.
Can I transfer my Extend Protection Plan if I gift or sell my air purifier?
Molekule protection plans purchased on or after October 1, 2023 are transferable. If you are buying a used Molekule air purifier, be sure to ask the previous owner for the protection plan order confirmation.
Can I purchase a Protection Plan for a refurbished Molekule air purifier?
No, Extend Protection Plans are only available for new devices purchased at molekule.com.
Does the Extend Protection Plan cover my air purifier if I move to another country?
No, the Extended Protection Plan only applies to the US.
Is there a limit to the number of claims I make with the Extend Protection Plan?
There is no limit on the number of claims you can file, as long as you stay within the maximum liability limit set out in your terms and conditions.
Why should I add an extended protection Plan?
The plan provides coverage after your manufacturer’s warranty expires so you’re covered when it matters most.
What do I need to provide if I file an Extend claim?
When filing a claim with Extend, you will simply need to provide either your contract ID, email address, or another identifying piece of information.
What if I need to return my product?
If you return your product, Molekule returns the money you paid for the protection plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, Extend may issue a prorated refund.
When will you start selling extended protection plans again?
There is no timeframe for when we will resume sales for the extended protection plan.
