Start with the outlet, the power connection, and the filters. Your purifier needs both unwrapped filters in place and the shell locked before it can begin cleaning the air. These checks take you through startup in order.
Helpful Tip: Use a lamp or phone charger to check the outlet before moving on to the purifier.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Unplug the purifier.
- With the purifier still unplugged, check that its supplied power cable is firmly connected underneath the base.
- Turn the outer shell counterclockwise and lift it off.
- Check that both genuine PECO-HEPA Advanced filters are installed and completely unwrapped. Seat them with the pull ribbons facing outward.
- Lower the shell and turn it clockwise until it locks. Return the purifier upright on a stable floor.
- Plug the supplied power supply into the working outlet. Tap the center control on PECOAir or the touchscreen on PECOAir+.
- Let startup finish. If the purifier still does not start, note any light or message and contact Molekule Customer Service.
Care & Support Guidelines
Use the supplied power supply and genuine PECO-HEPA Advanced filters. If startup still stops, tell us what lights or messages appear at help.molekule.com. Leave internal repairs to Customer Service. For warranty coverage and exclusions, see the limited warranty information at molekule.com.
If the issue continues, have a short video ready when you contact Customer Service. Include the sound, indicator lights, or display message that shows what's happening. Don't restart an unsafe device just to record it. Use your phone's photo app to create a cloud sharing link, if available, rather than emailing a large attachment. Check that the link opens for someone you share it with, and have it ready to send. This helps us see the issue and get you to the next step faster.
