Routine care takes a few minutes a month.
Exterior. Unplug the purifier, then wipe the housing with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Skip sprays, solvents and abrasive cleaners; they can mark the finish and leave residue near the air intake.
Air intake and outlet. Dust and pet hair collect on the intake grille. Once a month, run a vacuum with a brush attachment over the intake and outlet, or wipe them with a dry microfiber cloth.
Sensors. PECOAir and PECOAir+ reads your air through small sensor openings on the housing. Keep them clear of dust and don’t cover them. If readings seem off, a gentle pass with a dry cloth or a puff of air usually clears it. Never insert anything into the sensor openings.
Filter. The PECO-HEPA Advanced filter is not washable. Replace it every six months, or when the Molekule app tells you it’s time. Only genuine Molekule filters contain PECO technology.
Placement. Give the unit at least 12 inches of clearance from walls and corners, keep it off thick carpet where the intake can be blocked, and keep it away from direct water, steam or humidifier output.
Storage. If you’re putting the purifier away for a season, unplug it, remove the filter, and store it in a dry place.
