The 3-Day Refresh Prevents the "Pink Slime." Humidifiers are wet environments, which bacteria love.
Unlike other humidifiers, the water tank on Glow is permanently attached to the base. Do not attempt to remove the tank or submerge the unit in water, as this will destroy the electronics.
How to clean safely
Be extremely careful not to get water or soap inside the vertical Mist Tube (mist outlet) inside the tank. Water entering this tube can flow directly into the internal electronics and damage the humidifier.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the humidifier before cleaning.
Remove the lid and pour out old water.
Disassemble the lid by removing the top cap.
Once the cap is removed, carefully slide out the water level floater from the lid.
Wash all three pieces in warm soapy water and place to dry.
Because you cannot put the whole humidifier in the sink, use a soft, damp cloth with mild dish soap to wipe the inside of the tank.
Wipe out the soap with a clean, damp cloth, and let dry.
