Auto Protect Mode
Auto Protect mode relies on the Air Score to increase the fan speed. When the Air Score rises, Auto Protect mode will automatically increase fan speed to compensate.
Air Pro’s Auto Protect system now delivers a Standard and Quiet mode, to automatically regulate fan speed at at noise levels ideal for either day, night, or office-appropriate settings.
Auto Protect – Standard
Auto Protect uses the PM sensor to measure airborne particulate matter levels and regulate fan speed for optimal air purification.
Auto Protect – Quiet
This setting also uses the PM sensor and regulates the fan, but will not run at high fan speeds, staying quiet while still maintaining effectiveness. While in this mode, rooms with detected levels of particles will typically take longer to clean compared to standard Auto Protect mode.
Air Pro Sensor Levels
The sensors within Air Pro take samples of the air to report on three particulate matter levels (PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10) as well as VOCs, relative humidity (RH) and carbon dioxide (CO2). The sensors report this information using a four-tiered scale and color level, from Good (green) to Very bad (purple), for each pollutant.
Always keep in mind that there are air pollutants that Air Pro or other air quality monitors are not detecting, and that no air purifier can completely protect you from the effects of air pollution or airborne infectious diseases.
Good
Your Air Pro is detecting a low concentration of pollutants in the room.
We suggest running your device on Auto Protect or at the lowest fan speed.
Moderate
Your Air Pro is detecting a moderate concentration of pollutants in the room.
We suggest running your device on Auto Protect or increasing fan speed to continue cleaning the air.
Bad
Your Air Pro is detecting a high concentration of pollutants in the room.
We suggest running your device on Auto Protect or increasing fan speed to continue cleaning the air.
Very Bad
Your Air Pro is detecting a very high concentration of pollutants in the room.
We suggest running your device on Auto Protect or increasing the fan to the highest speed to continue cleaning the air.
